Space4k.com Game Rules
Each User agrees with his/her registration/login to the following game rules. The Game Staff holds up the right to warn, censor and ban Users if the Users do not follow the rules.
I Multi-Account
- Each user is allowed to have single account per Space4k Server.
- Controlling more than one account per Space4K server is strictly forbidden and bannable.
- If two or more accounts are usually, occasionally, or permanently being played from the same network a GameOperator/GameAdmin must be notified, without exception.
In these cases the accounts are not allowed to have anything in common (only same alliance is allowed) while on the same connection, otherwise this could be seen as multi and it is bannable
Every misusing of this rule is punishable
- Accounts that are playing on the same IP are not allowed to interact in any way.( Sending resources, attacking etc.)
- When GameOperator/GameAdmin is informed, the respective players are required to prove they are individuals. The burden of proof falls upon the individuals, not upon Space4K.
- Accounts for the sole purpose of pushing another account - no matter if active (e.g. shipping of resources) or passive (e.g. raid target) also fall under this regulation.
- Accounts that are playing on the same network are not allowed to interact in any way. (Sending resources, attacking etc.)
II Account Sharing
- Each account is entitled to be played by a single player at a time
This rule apply also for those who sent proof that they are individuals. (from I. Multi-Account)
III Account exchange
- Account exchange must be done with the assistance of a GameOperator/GameAdmin.
- Owner of the account must message GameOperator/GameAdmin in game, from account which is he/she giving away.
- In case of exchanging accounts, both owners have to message GameOperator/GameAdmin in game, from their own accounts.
- Accounts which are exchanged without notice of GameOperator/GameAdmin can be banned.
- Once a given account changes its owner, 30 days must pass before it changes ownership again.
IV Proxies
- Space4k.com web pages may not be accessed using an anonymization service obscuring the user’s actual IP address. (proxy)
V Bugusing
- Exploiting errors, misbehaviours or bugs in the programming of Space4k and usage of such to one´s own advantage - so called bug-using - is not allowed.
- If a player finds a bug they have to forward it to the GameAdmin as soon as possible (e.g. via PM, board, IRC or E-mail).
- Failing to report an obvious bug is considered as punishable - game-play may be blocked from 1 day to indefinite time depending on the severity of the exploitation of a bug.
- The same applies to a player refusing to report a found bug.
VI Scripting
- Installations and methods that cause excessive internet traffic to the server or can be used to impair normal gameplay should be omitted. In particular, automatic or semi-automatic scripts capable of interacting with the game database or issuing game commands, are prohibited and usage or installation of such result in an immediate and permanent ban from the entire game.
- This includes but is not limited to:
-Bots
-Macros
-Automated scripts
-etc.
We reserve the right to claim damage in the amount of the caused damage plus coverage for administrative expenses.
VII Pushing
- Pushing is when a lower ranked player sends resources to a higher ranked player who gains unfairly from these resources. This also includes sending resources to a higher ranked player who extorts you.
- Under no circumstances whatsoever is pushing permissible.
- Note that if you unexpectedly receive resources from a lower player, you cannot keep them. They must be returned immediately.
- Loans are not permissible.
- Trades must be completed within 48 hours.
- In-game extortion of resources is not permitted where it violates the pushing rule. Any players attempting to extort resources from other players may be banned.
- Payment of credits, headhunting orders and other similar actions not causing immediate return service of resources are conducted at the participating parties´ risk.
VIII Newbie protection
- It is not allowed to attack any given planet owned by a player who is under top 1000 over twice per day per planet in a single 24 hours period.
- Being attacked only by espionage probes does not count towards newbie protection.
- Bashing is only allowed when your Alliance is at war with another Alliance
The War must be announced on the official Space4k.com board.
Attacking fleets that are completely destroyed do not count towards the bashing rule.
IX General Conduct
- Spam, insults, and offensive content are not permitted. Using insults/offensive content/spam can result in a ban.
- The official language at space4k.com is English. If a player receives a non-english ingame message and complains about it, the person who sent the message can be banned.
- Alliance pages not in English are not permitted - unless you translate everything (word by word) into English.
- Impersonating or claiming to be staff is not permitted under any circumstances.
X Extortion
- Extortions and threats that relate to a players "real life" (physical, as compared to "virtual life" on the net) can cause limited or unlimited blockage of the respective account the threats or extortion were sent from.
Such blockage could also cover access to any and all Space4k services.
XI Refund
- If a player faces disadvantages caused by programming errors or other misbehaviors or errors by the Space4K team, he is not entitled to any refunding or resurrection of the accounts state before the occurrence of the disadvantage. If and in which form an exception to this regulation is made, is a matter of decision by the Game Administrator who is informed by the responsible game operator.
Staff decisions:
- Should a player try to circumvent a decision or its implications issued by a game operator by contacting another game operator about the same matter, the player will immediately be excluded from further game play (Exception: Intervention by contacting the Superior).
XII Alliance
Planets- / Alliance pictures:
- Planets - and alliance pictures are graphics that can be uploaded by the player for their own alliance /their own planet and saved on a server.
- These pictures may NOT be:
Pornographic, sexual, racist or offensive in other ways.
Alliance names / Alliance description:
- Alliance Names, Alliance Tags and Alliance description may not offence other players/alliances or contain sexual expressions or other offensive contexts. Advertisements are not allowed - especially not for other browser games.
- Links on the alliance description and the Alliance Homepage Link may not lead to any pornographic or racist page. They may only lead to the alliance own page.
XIII Attacking the Space4k team
- Attacking any Space4k team member is under no circumstances allowed. These accounts are not part of the game and only necessary for administrations.
- All accounts are in the following alliance: TAG: [S4k-Game], Name: Space4k-Game-Team.
XIV Violations of the rules
- A violation of the rules could result in a ban with a minimum length of 1 day and could be up to a permanent ban and exclusion from the game.
- Depending on the severity of the offending action(s) the punishment may be extended to all Space4K server, and further services provided by Space4K (official forum, IRC channels), and to any/all other websites under the control of Space4K.
- Members of the Space4K team agree to fully present the offending action according to the best of their knowledge and their beliefs.
- If you disagree or have questions about your ban contact the GO first (please write your ingame name in the Mail or PM).

Member of the game team might block you on a temporary or permanent basis. This includes both, accounts which might or might not have broken any of the points above. At the same time take into consideration that your behaviour on any of our services might end up in a permanent or temporary ban from the whole community and its services.

The Staff reserves the right to change rules as and when they deem it necessary.
